| Introduction | Hi there. I hope you find this blog informative, inspiring and a bit of fun. Let me tell you a little about myself. I've been quilting since 2010. I began by hand piecing a Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt which contained about 3,000 pieces. I went on to machine piecing, paper piecing, applique, and more. Then in about 2014 I decided to delve into free motion quilting on a domestic sewing machine (a Juki) and I was in heaven. And then in 2018 purchased my 1st longarm, a Gammill hand guided machine. I'm drawn to it like a fish to water. And I hope you'll see in the pictures hereon this blog, on the "Eye Candy" page of my website, and on my facebook page, quilting that speaks to you toward finishing your quilt. I specialize in custom hand guided quilting. No computer used here. So every quilt I quilt is truly an original, unique piece. My inspiration for my quilting comes from my customers and other amazing quilters. I will share as much as I can with you here. And I hope that you'll share with me your thoughts by commenting as well. Thank you! We'll go on this quilting journey together. Hannelore |
