| Introduction | Someone asked me how I got to be so creative... Hmmm I had to think about that. It really started when I was just a little girl (actually I think I was born creative.) I grew up in Spring Lake, a small town with about 250 people. Sometimes the only excitement we had was in our imagination... riding stick horses, climbing trees, building tree houses (that really should have been condemned), making mud pies, and dolls out of Hollyhocks. I love adding color to my life, and have painted the walls in my home so many times that I think I’ve reduced the square footage. My son says he is insecure is because I moved the furniture around so much when he was little. I think one of the best things is to give new life to something that someone has decided to get rid of... and then to see the look on their faces when they realize what they threw away! I've spent most of my life living on a shoestring budget. This "blessing" helped develop my creativity. I am excited to share my knowledge with the world in hopes of eliminating some seriously tacky stuff out there and make the world a more beautiful place. Just kidding... but I am excited to share! |
