Introduction	I'm a parent in the NYC public school system, where I've served on the SLTs of two schools and as a Learning Leader. I have an M.Ed., have worked as a Head Start teacher, and have written many books for children, including The Elf of Union Square, a novel for 8-12 year olds. My latest book (about the misbehavior of a rogue punctuation mark) is entitled Greedy Apostrophe: A Cautionary Tale. I've also worked as an editor and as an instructor of creative writing.
