ankle comes from the word "angle". angles are degrees of partedness or "otherness" — reflexive joints amid the connectedness of things connected. causal forces can propagate through matter only by degrees of partedness and ultimately, the final configuration itself is merely the form of a consequence, which may yet also be just another degree of difference or there may be no difference.
