| Introduction | I have three wonderful children. All in their teens. My son was diagnosed with autism before the age of two. At the time they didn't know if he would ever speak or be a normal child. Today he is a senior in High school who consistently gets high honors. He tackles subjects like Physics and Calculus with ease but loves art and hopes to one day write his own comic books. We're looking into colleges for him for next year. To most people you would never know he was autistic. He still struggles with social activities and fitting in but he is such a wonderful boy and human being. To all those struggling to raise an autistic child, my heart goes out to you. There is hope and lots of help, you just have to find it. |
