| Introduction | I'm a photographer and stay-at-home mother in Birmingham, Alabama in the process of turning my passion of photography into a small business. I believe that God has given me this passion, and when I'm shooting photographs, He allows me to forget about everything going on in the world around me and focus just on that moment. I am thankful for and cherish this escape. I can remember as a little girl always looking out of the bay window (our "breakfast room window") in my family home framing scenes within the panes of the windows imagining what they would look like as photographs. So, I have to think that maybe I've just always had an eye searching for a photograph. My maternal grandfather was a very talented amateur photographer back when all photos were black and white and when he developed them all in his own darkroom. His photographs are a family treasure. For now this blog is a way to share a growing compilation of my favorite captured moments that will hopefully, too, one day be a treasure to someone else... |
