| Introduction | Chaz and I have been together since May 1999. We married in 2001 and have two little girls, who are 9 and 7. Chaz has deployed to Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan and also had an 18 month tour of Korea. Chaz deployed with the 1/75th CAV of 101st Airborne on June 16, 2010. On January 22, 2011 while on a dismounted patrol in the Zhari district of Afghanistan, Chaz stepped on an IED. He instantly lost both legs and broke his elbow. This blog is about our family's adventures on our road of healing. |
