Introduction	Arrived in Australia early 1950's. Was born in Holland in a place called HALFWEG - halfway - between Amsterdam, capital of the province Noord Holland, - North Holland - and Haarlem. Migrated to Australia with his parents and four siblings. Lived and worked in W.A. for some 25 years and then moved with his family to N.S.W, in early 1970. Having been trained in the printing industry as a compositor in Holland worked at a newspaper in Sydney for some 25 years retiring in 1994. Holidays in those years were spent traveling in Australia and he took up Bush Poetry 15 years ago. Followed Bush Poets Breakfasts at Country music festivals mainly along the East Coast of Australia. Has performed at Folk Festivals and Events such as The Man from Snowy River, National Folk Festival, Canberra, Bulli, and a regular spot at the Bungadore Muster Poets Breakfast. Performs all his own poetry and it is about places and sites where his wife and him have travelled all over this great land called Australia. All his Poems are carefully researched and based on fact with some poetic license. All Poems are copyright, unless otherwise stated.
