Introduction	Age 48, mother of 3 daughters (Ailsa, Vanessa and Nicola), nana of 2 grand children (Aimee and Callan). Working full-time at Newcastle University as School Administrator. Began walking as a serious hobby in March 2009 having mentioned in a conversation with a work colleague that it was 'a beautiful day for a walk in the countryside'. Before I knew it, I had booked us places on an NSPCC Challenge Hack in the Malvern Hills - 25 miles in 12 hours - and the event was only 3 months away! OMG how on earth were we going to prepare for that! Well, that was where the challenge began and I haven't looked back since.
