| Introduction | I love film and music. Going into a used bookstore/record store or weekend bazar is like heaven. I got interested in indian film when a friend lent me a copy of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (I laughed the whole time and hated it). It took me a while to understand indian films, commercial or not, but I immediately understood indian music, and I liked it a lot. I study film at in University as well as South Asian studies. I am currently learning Kathak, Hindi and a little Tamil. I would like to learn Bengali and other languages. |
