Introduction | A lifelong hat wearer, I became interested in hatting history in 2004 when I discovered the Cavanagh Edge. I decided I wanted to know more about it, what it was, how it was made, who created it, and so I jumped in feet first. Years later, I have amassed a great deal of knowledge of the history of the hatting industry, and I want to pass it along to you here. |
Interests | Hat history, Hatmaking, railroad history, American history, Colorado history, model railroading, gardening and landscaping, cooking, genealogy, reading, writing, music (though I don't play guitar much lately), and dreaming of exploring misty mysterious forests, anticipating and enjoying the melacholy days of Autumn, and watching the snow fall outside my window. |
Favorite Music | I'm currently smitten with Colbie Caillat and Taylor Swift. Otherwise in no particular order: Windham Hill's A Winter's Solstice series, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Beethoven, Schubert, Vivaldi, the Eagles, and most '80s music. |
