| Introduction | Born and raised in Franklin NJ, I was the first in my family to graduate college. I grew up in a zinc mining community and have strong family bonds. I taught in Paterson NJ for 34 years before retiring.I am now chairperson of the board of health in my town, trip planner for the Sussex County Retired Educators, and President of Delta Kappa Gamma, Epsilon Chapter. This is an internation women's eductional society. I love not working now. This is finally my time! |
| Interests | I like to paint, read, swim and play cards. I enjoy meeting friends I play cards with on the internet. I currently play on a Pinochle Team and two euchre leagues. |
| Favorite Movies | I love old movies with Molly Ringwald, Julia Roberts and Queen Latifah. I know it is anal but they are no brainers. Love all star wars movies and james bond too. |
| Favorite Music | love listening to and going to Jethro Tull/Ian Anderson Concerts. I just saw Fleetwood Mac in the izod center in the meadowlands. Love Bon Jovi, oldies from the 60's Already have Tull tickets for this year coming. Love K T Tunstull also. |
| Favorite Books | Love reading Fern Michaels books. Currently catching up with all of her old books. I have ben reading local history books by Carrie Papa on the Franklin Mines and also Bill Truan. Interesting Reading. Being a primary teacher for so long I still love all of Dr Seuss' books, Maurice Sendak, and all of the Clifford and Arthur Books for kids. |
If mud is dirt plus water, what is clay?
I would have to say clay is ummm silt/sand and water perhaps with a some oil.Wow just thought it was a different kind of mud/dirt.
