| Introduction | i walk through streets with tall trees and red flowers, i drink from a mountain made of dreams. i write to the sound of music, and navigate the world always following my soul. my name is vanessa ulia. i was born in maputo - mozambique, to an indian father and a portuguese mother. the winds took me to cape town, where under the stars and most biggest love, i met khalid, my dearest husband. and then on the most wonderful of soul journeys we welcomed our adopted baby girl, Inaya Nyeleti, in Maputo. we are now back in Cape Town preparing to move to London at the end of February 2012. we dream a life of simplicity with family and friends. i discover everyday for the first time and that's how it goes. |
