| Introduction | Well, what to say... I got married in July of 2007 and have my own fairy tale with my sweet hubby. We have 5 children: 4 here with us and one in heaven. We are carving out a life in a sin cursed world, and loving the time we get to spend with other Primitive Baptist. I have a degree in history and love to read. I'm hoping one of these days to land a teaching position, but in the meantime am mostly enjoying homeschooling our heathens. |
| Interests | Sacred Harp singing, the Primitive Baptist Church, running in the rain, driving with the windows down, history especially of the early American/Southern variety, Ireland, dancing when no one is there to laugh insistently |
| Favorite movies | Pirates, Elizabethtown, most all musicals, any John Wayne Western, most classic movies like Cassablanca, some scifi, especially historic fiction. |
| Favorite music | sacred harp, church music, Rascal Flatts, Little Big Town, Third Day, you know stuff. |
| Favorite books | Bible, Classics like: Shakespeare, Pride & Prejudice, Weathering Heights, Emma, you get the idea. Historical fiction: like Edmund Rutherford's books to Laura Ingles Wilder. Fantasy and SciFi like Star Wars books, a Cast of Stones. I have a ton of actual history books like David McCullough's stuff. Almost anything really. Every time we move Gary threatens to burn all my books. |
