Introduction	I recently learned that my husband has GBM4. I was completely unaware of this form of cancer. Being a veterinarian, I knew more about how to understand the literature and the need to look for cutting edge clinical trials perhaps more than the average person, but we still missed our window and did not get our first or second choice clinical trials anyway. GBM4cure was founded by Debbie Moore, who wanted to do an outreach project to help educate people about this cancer, so those who are suddenly diagnosed (and it is always sudden!) will have some ready information to help orient them. This cancer waits for no one. When you are diagnosed you need to act quickly to help outpace this aggressive and swift-moving cancer. My husband is an author and after spending 10 years writing and editing in writer's groups, I decided to help out with this mag.
