| Introduction | My name is Safi Ullah Shahwani. I'm a freelance journalist and a story teller from Quetta, Pakistan. The city I live in is the provincial capital of Balochistan which happens to be the largest, and the mineral-rich province of Pakistan. This province is paradoxically the poorest and conflict-ridden region of the country. I have also authored a contemporary fiction titled: An Innocent Dream Bleeds. I love writing and am sensitive to social issues around me which becomes my source of inspiration for being a prolific writer. Apart from writing, I also love teaching and contribute my services to various coaching institutions in my town. I have written countless articles, book reviews and columns published in English Dailies of Pakistan. I'm also a trainer and have provided various trainings to the budding journalists in the field of communication. I have also been rendering my services as a freelance journalist, editor for various online news outlets and an independent translator in Pakistan.
