| Introduction | I’m wondering if somewhere inside of you, you feel that desire to make things happen – to be the head, not the tail. Some people believe that great leaders are made, not born. Sure, it may be true that some people are born with natural talents. With practice, drive, enthusiasm and Pilot International a true leader can be developed. I am the 2011-2012 Pilot International Leadership Development Coordinator. Pilot International is dedicated to service and committed to brain health. Pilot members serve by furthering Pilot International’s humanitarian efforts through charitable, educational, and research programs in communities throughout the world. I am in the process of chartering a new club in South Side, Pgh. An e-club, where we “meet” electronically to make our decisions and get together for service and networking opportunities with other professionals in the city. I was honored with the Jefferson Award for Public Service in 2009 for raising awareness of Brain Related Disorders and volunteering in my community since the age of 12. |
