Introduction I am in a very transitional period in my life right now, and I am loving getting to know who I am and what I value. I love working with at-risk teenagers. I hate olives and bigots. I collect Sharpies. I have a passion for learning, and I get so excited about my new discoveries that I want to share them with everyone. I love living on the Colorado Plateau- you can't help but be healed and uplifted by the history and beauty of the redrock canyon country. I am obsessed with books- I love to hold them, flip through them, smell them, and organize them, I even love dusting my bookshelves. I love pop culture, especially all things 80s. I am fascinated by people. I love movies, music and memoirs, and I don't really get poetry. I'm just another tree-hugging hippie. I'm still holding on to the dream that Alex P. Keaton will ride in on his white Volvo and drive me off into our happily ever after. I can't get enough of Broadway musicals or John Cusack. I deeply admire the free-spirited, artistic, and care-free personalities of the world. My life's ambition is to save everyone. I have been told my whole life how mature I am for my age, but I sleep with a Disney Princesses night light.
