About me

Introduction	I am an unabashed Christian. I converted to what I believe to be Christ’s true Gospel in my 21st year. It was a life-changing (and saving) event. I am far from perfect, but I strive to be a good disciple of the Savior, and to live in a Christ-like manner. My family and I have been greatly blessed because of our commitment to the Savior. The only other thing I have done in my life with anywhere near the same commitment was getting married. I met and married my Sweetheart while serving in the Army, stationed in Alaska, during the Viet Nam war. She is the Love of my Life and even after all these years, I still think she is the cutest thing, and she can still stir my blood like none else. Our union has been blessed with 8 children. Has our marriage and family life been easy? NOT! There have been times of what I can only describe as heavenly bliss and love. Unfortunately, the same union that can bring such joy has the power to bring the greatest sorrow of this life. There have been more than enough of those times as well. But, I wouldn’t want to be single again for anything, and as our children go out into the world doing and being good, I couldn’t ask for a more satisfying blessing.
