Introduction	Born in the East, but raised in the West, DERtY got his inspiration to be a DJ when he was only thirteen (13) years old. DERtY brother Get a DJING gadgets for him when gettin down from Portsmouth .DERtY had experimented with playing the FL studio,pro tools and turntable throughout his elementary, middle and high school years.DERtY continued to practice his skills in his bedroom until early in de morning, after playing many house parties for free, he was offered his first paying DJ gig. When he was fifteen, DERtY became a "professional" when he was paid $500.00 to DJ at a high school house party. At 16, DERtY was ready for the club and college scene was spinning on,When he was 19, DERtY displayed his skills DJ and advanced to RAP scene as RAPPER. DERtY quickly gained status as "the G Mixer & Midwest Gangsta raPper" DERtY's remixes and production work are as diverse as the artists he has worked with; LiL wiz,deffsoul , mc flame to name a few. Closer to home, as the mix and rap scene, DERtY strong influence was felt as part of the label called DERtY ent , DertY House REcordz
