| Introduction | I am very optimistic and see life in three main categories: Life is good, life is hard, and life is funny. Life is good to me because of my faith, all of the many types of faith. If something is going in a way I consider good, fruitful, or just positive in one way or another, then I remind myself that I at one time believed it would be that way, or that someone or something would come along to make things good for me. When life is hard I remember when times were good and rewarding and that my previous hardships made each reward or positive experience even sweeter than it would have been. This alone gives me the courage to believe in myself and those around me and yes, mankind as well. This point of view allows me to feel more comfortable at times when life is neither good nor bad but just a little awkward and see humor when one might not if they had no faith to carry them through. |
