| Introduction | Work has taken him to many countries including Canada, the UK, USA, and Australia in merchant banking, management consultancy and teaching Thinking Skills for the past 25 years. His deepest interest is research into the brain and human potential. He is an engineering graduate but started work as an air force and airline pilot, studying psychology on his days off before resigning from South African Airways to go to business school for an MBA and entering management consultancy. He has done community work, he teaches Transcendental Meditation and has run education and development projects in Soweto and Alexandra townships. He has appeared on South African and Australian national TV, spoken on numerous radio talk shows and published many magazine articles on stress and the development of human potential. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Natal University, an MBA, and a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Cape Town. His research field is stress management and organization development. He has imported and sold old military airplanes - and sometimes relaxes by flying them. |
