| Introduction | I am a 33 year-old, full time stay at home / work at home mom. I have an amazing husband and a very "strong willed" little girl. (I was the same way, so I totally knew this was coming.) Before my life as a mom, I worked in the printing industry and merchandising. I attended The University of Kansas School of Fine Arts and have a BFA in Design. I was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer on August 18, 2008. I had a double mastectomy, did 4 months of chemo, 12 months of Herceptin IV therapy and am on year 2 of 5 years of hormone therapy treatment. It's amazing the strength we find when there is no other choice.
