| Introduction | This blog is a result of research for a humanities course (with an art designation) for teacher re-certification. Posting course research online should assist the VA DOE in assessing the value of this course. Invitation to folk artists across the USA: Folk artists who find this blog are encouraged to submit profiles as well as descriptions and photographs of their work. (Please limit photographs to no larger than 300 kb.) This blog is not intended as a forum for sales. Prices will not be posted. Anyone wanting to sell items will have to do so privately and directly using other channels of communication. Images appearing on this blog were either taken by the blogger or found freely on the web. If the appearance of an image violates the policy of the original photographer, please write me to identify the offending image and it will be removed. As the purpose of this blog is to post research, and not for commercial reasons, it is hoped there will be no objections. After each section, relevant bibliographic citations will be posted to give credit and to enable additional research by readers. |
