| Introduction | I’m a woman, married mama, teacher, writer, and many of the things that slip in with those kinds of roles. I'm establishing a new life up on a mountain in Canada’s BC (but really in the middle of nowhere...). I’ve shifted from sporting high heels and pin stripes as an education professional to feeding horses and trekking about in bamboo pants with a baby on my back in a startlingly short period of time. I have tons of questions regarding religion, global devlopment and communities, choices,earth care, and just living in general. I’m married to a wonderful man who is the most frustrating person I have ever committed to interacting with! My beautiful son is the most cherished thing I hold on this earth. I love to read and write and am some kind of artsy. I love to create beautiful things with word, foods, and people, and find joy in filling a table with good things from the earth. I think money, over-work, and the 9-5 is both tempting and over-rated. I think dark beer is worth it. I wish I owned a goat. It seems that I hardly recognize the person I am becoming these days but, truth be told, I think I like her. |
