| Introduction | I have owned and bred rats, on and off, for 20 years now. I have never dealt with cancer or tumors in any of my rats, so have little experience in this, however had dealt with a wide variety of other rat related issues. I am always happy to help via phone call or email with any rats that you have a question about. While I may not have the time to actually make a home visit and request that you do not bring your rats to me, I can give my opinion of things. Please keep in mind that I may be a self proclaimed rat expert, this does not mean that I have veterinary experience or background. If you need to take your rat to a vet, please do not use me for a substitute for this. I do not know ALL rat illnesses and, as I said, I have no experience with cancer in rats or rat tumors, malignant or benign. Also, I am no longer going to be doing home visits to give my opinion of rat illnesses. I have done this with one person and now, I feel, that they expect it. I do what I can to help rats in general, but I am not a vet, or even a vet tech, I am just a breeder that works to help improve the species and helps, where I can, with rats in need. |
