| Introduction | I am 54 years old, am married to Odd Arne Rognli and we have five children; only one still living with us, Bendik (13). I am a graduate from UMB (NLH at the time) in Horticultural Sciences (1983) and obtained my Dr.Scient (PhD) in 1989. In addition to UMB, I have been employed by the Ministry of Environment in Oslo, and I have been on four sabbaticals during my period at UMB; three time to the UK (Wye College, Kent 1985-86; John Innes Centre, Norfolk in 1991-92 and 2002-2003) and presently I am on sabbatical at Department of Horticultural Sciences at the University of Minnesota (UMN). UMN is an important international partner for UMB. |
