| Introduction | Joe Schmidt is a poet and writer. He has taught writing courses for the University of Louisville, Lehman College, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Jefferson Community and Technical College, among others. He holds a BA from the University of Louisville and an MFA from Spalding University. His poems have appeared in River Styx, The Louisville Review, and The Prose-Poem Project.
