| Introduction | Many, many moons ago I finished my college degree, worked for the Navy in computer procesing and then gave it up to raise a family. I have been staying at home with the kids for the last several years. During that time, I have rediscovered my fascination for fiber; weaving, needlework (knitting, crochet, tatting, bobbin lace, tablet weaving,) and all the tools that go with these arts. Since small I have enjoyed string, yarn and such. I also have been making most the equipment; needles, pillows, frames and looms that are needed. Making them satisfies my interest in working with wood. I also enjoy food. Eating and finding new dishes brings me to this blog. I am not a great cook, but I do enjoy making food. My husband and kids all have tried my experiments and are alive to tell about it, so I must be doing something right. |
