| Introduction | I’m a freelance editor who has been driven by the pressures of editing to write humor. Some people cannot start their day without a hot cup of coffee or a cold shower. I cannot start my day without reading the comics. I find innumerable occasions to quote them, which leaves me open to the ridicule of my family and friends for getting most of my wisdom from people and animals that do not exist. But I find this wisdom much more applicable to real life than, say, the book “Who Moved My Cheese?” My alter ego, the Prissy Princess, sometimes appears in these posts, along with her trusted Gallant Hero. Having an alter ego allows us to have even more interesting adventures (or at least make it sound that way). Be assured that Prissy Princess tales are true (some portion thereof). |
