| Introduction | I guess, technically, you could say I've been around. I've lived in Indiana, Nebraska, Texas, Jersey (and yes, I was a gum snappin' high hair - it was the 80's - I was doomed), Florida, and Maryland. I made my way to Maryland via college. I have a couple degrees (BA -social work, BS - communication sciences and disorders, MS - audiology). I have a pet posse (3 dogs and 2 cats) which my husband and I refer to as our kidz with fur! I'm 50% hippy and 50% punk rock which makes me a walking contradiction. Make me laugh and make me think and I'll love you forever. |

| Favorite movies | I watch everything except any movie involving Van Damme or Steven Seagal. I love cynical comedies -Dogma, -Dazed and Confused, -Almost Famous, -Reality Bites, -Grosse Point Blank, -Pulp Fiction, -Reservoir Dogs, -Swingers, -Clay Pigeons, etc. ANYTHING Monty Python puts out. I'm a shameless product of the 80's too -Breakfast Club, -Sixteen Candles, -Say Anything, etc. I'm also a sucker for English period pieces -Sense and Sensibility, -Pride and Predjudice, -Master and Commander, -King Arthur, -Remains of the Day, etc. This list really does go on and on and on.......... |
| Favorite music | Everything but show tunes. I don't care for country either but there is a fuzzy line there when you get into bluegrass, Appalachain mountian music and southern rock. Really I couldn't even begin to list them all. I was a Dead Head from the late 80's until Jerry died. RIP. I'm not pigeon-holed into this genre (jam bands) though. |
| Favorite books | I work in a library. Therefore, I read just about everything but I refuse to finish a book I don't like. The stack on my nightstand right now: 'The Folded World', 'The Lazy Gardner', 'Past Lives-Future Healing', 'Silent Witness', 'The Book of Clouds'. |
