| Introduction | Greetings mes amis, my name is Olivia. My friends call me Liv; the Creator of the universe, maker of the stars, has called me to Live. I’m manager, barista, and coffee-roaster at a Dunn Brothers Coffee shop, where my coworkers and I spend our days imbibing coffee, laughter, and ideas. I live in the “Lewis room” of a Victorian-era Airbnb house. I fill it with books, and diffused light, quotes on hope and courage, French music, and scattered notebooks scrawled with unfinished lists, stories, and sonnets. The flight of birds overhead, or the track of an airplane, will always catch my eye. I miss the birds sorely in wintertime, and can’t wait for the return of sunshine to warm the many walking-trails I want to take, and picnics I want to invite you on. I cook all my own food, and would grow my own food too, if wishes were gardens (and energy and hours). I sing in a worship band with my brothers, and in a gospel choir. I read incessantly, am passionate about teatime, and want to travel the world. |
