Location	Bream Creek, Tasmania, Australia
Introduction	(Feb 2009) I am a glass artist and long time music fan. I live in Bream Creek,Tas., a beautiful area near The Falls Festival site, Wielangta Forest and the famed surf break Boneyard. I've wanted to promote and present live music for a long time and now it's happening with the assistance of the Falls Festival Community Fund and my local community (and me getting off my bum at last!). I hope this is the first of many. What a pleasure to be able to present my first major gig for and in my local community in such an intimate setting as the Copping Community Hall and with a band such as KaneWelchKaplin. I attended Bluesfest in Byron Bay every year between 1995-2004 and that's when I first encountered Kieran Kane and Kevin Welch as a duo then in about 2000. I was initially taken by their stage props of a standard lamp and small table which set the "in your lounge room" feel for the gig for me and revealed their songwriting, musicianship and entertaining talents. Since that first gig I have enjoyed them on a couple of other occasions. Now they are a 4 piece band and I can't wait to rediscover their magic all over again, especially as it is in my backyard.
