Room One at Birchwood School

Location	Stoke, Nelson, New Zealand
Introduction	We are a dynamic, musical, helpful, caring, class of five year olds. Children join us on their 5th birthday and stay in Room One (Ngaio class) until they are ready socially, academically and emotionally to move into their next classroom. As a result, our room is always buzzing with activity and happiness with new New Entrants on their class visits up to three days a week so there are nearly always new faces to welcome. New Parent meeting are held once a term in order that our expectations and routines can be explained, please see the school website for more information.
