| Introduction | The Reverend Nemu first started thinking about the apocalypse whilst baiting the Jehovah's Witnesses who kept appearing at his door. Since then he has written a fat book, studying it from various perspectives, including as a neurological process which can happen to an individual at any time, and as a collective cultural cataclysm which occurs occasionally in history. Despite the confused rants of street preachers and the frowns of the sensible minority, it is a vital topic which is becoming more relevant by the day. It is where the hidden is revealed, where the unconscious becomes conscious, and where discoveries have their covers dissed. Nemu's background is the history and philosophy of science and medicine, and his interests include linguistics, psychology, magick, anarchy, ayahuasca scripture, and Gnosticism. He is available for weddings, christenings, and funerals. |
