Introduction	Talya Arbisser is a freelance photographer. For more than ten years, Arbisser has been focused on photojournalism, specializing in sports photography. Recently Arbisser has been concentrating her camera on special needs children, with a particular interest in blindness. Arbisser holds a BA from Cornell University in sociology with a concentration in Visual Studies. In June of 2009 she graduated from the International Center of Photography in New York City with a certificate in photojournalism and documentary photography. Past internships have included three months at The Dispatch/Argus in Moline, Illinois and seven months at The Quad-City Times in Davenport, Iowa. Ik maak fotos was started during a 5-month period of life in Amsterdam.
