| Introduction | I am just an ambitious, small town girl who grew up in Mt. Auburn, Ill., and now coming to you live from STL. I become more passionate about the agriculture industry everyday and I love that my day-to-day job brings me face to face with the greatest people on Earth: farmers. I write for a living telling other’s stories along the way, and now with this blog, I am attempting to write my own. I’m an avid Illini and Cardinals fan, I love anything hot pink, and I can shop like it’s my job. I channel Scarlett O’Hara and Dolly Parton. I love music, especially country, and every concert I go to make me want to turn into a professional groupie. I love cooking, but not cleaning and I would always rather read the book than watch the movie. I love decorating and DIY home décor. I love summer/fall nights at home with my friends and family, I firmly believe there is nothing that a night at Long’s Tavern in Mt. Auburn can’t fix, and I can play a juke box with the best of them. My best friends are amazing, I couldn’t live without my family, and I am here where I am today because my mom prays for me A LOT. I love Jesus, I love life, and I love the journey that I have before me. |
