| Introduction | Catherine Carre is an educator, artist and life long learner. She has traveled to more than twenty countries and lived in seven of these, experiences that have deeply influenced her outlook on the manner in which humanity interacts. Catherine graduated Summa cum Laude from the University of Oregon, has a Master's degree in Secondary Reading (Education) and a Master's degree in International Relations and Conflict Resolution; she is currently working on a PhD in Public Policy and Administration. As an educator, Catherine has taught students in every age group, from kindergarten to adult learners. She has worked with the very poor and the wealthy, and understands the manner in which environment affects outcomes. She is deeply committed to bringing educational opportunities to those living in underdeveloped areas. Currently, Catherine volunteers with the United Nations and tutors students while working on her Doctorate. She is also a professional artist whose work has won awards and been displayed in numerous western venues. |
