Introduction	Even though I don't understand all His ways, I am trying daily to trust our good and loving God and seeking to serve Him. Proverbs 3:5 tells us to: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding." After losing the love of my life and father to our six children on May 6, 2005, I can not lean on my own understanding, but must live by faith, trusting the God who loves me. My heart aches for Todd. I miss him so very much. But one day I will see him again, because of this promise from my Savior and Lord Jesus Christ: "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am, there you may be also." I pray for heaven. As MercyMe so adequately sings: "And I close my eyes and I see your face If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow... I've never been more homesick than now."
