| Introduction | I love food. Both my private + professional lives have revolved around food. My travel always seemed to end-up centered around restaurants - chefs - markets + food festivals. My mother and grandmother grew food in their gardens as a child and young adult. I started with my first cookbook at 19 - and still collecting at 41. I find pleasure, peace and self expression in cooking. I cook for myself, strangers, friends and family. Sharing food opens doors, hearts and minds. Food is tangible but also psychological, anthropological, and historical. Food inspires me. Food speaks the language of love in every dialect and tongue.
