| Introduction | I grew up on a hill full of durian trees in Penang island. Collecting durian fruit during durian season was my first encounter with durians when small. After that, I used to help my uncle to sell durians in the market during durian peak season during school holiday. Since then, durians have became inseparable from my life. I then study how to spray-dry durian fruit into powder as my final year project in uni. After that, I even use the powder to make durian ice cream and compared with ice cream made with fresh pulp. :P I eventually continued to pursue my further study on durian aging process!! That was when I decided to write a blog about durian.... |
