| Introduction | I was an abused child and woman, who is struggling to break the cycle of domestic violence in my life. I am a single parent to five/six children. My life goal is to give my children a chance to escape the cyle, to become anything other than an abuser or victim. The seeds of both are already there. This is my story... my effort to hold myself accountable for my choices, move forward by letting go of my past, and to avoid at all costs backsliding into the victim role ever again. |
