| Introduction | Hello. My name is Fabia, and I am a Vestal Virgin. I live in the Temple of Vesta right outside of the Forum in Rome. My main job is tending the fire inside of the temple with five other girls. If this fire goes out, it is a terrible omen for all of Rome. It is said that all of Rome will fall. It is an honorably job which I am more than happy to have. We are also the only women priestess in the Empire, something which I’m very proud to say. I love what I do, and I will be very sad to leave in twenty years. |
