| Introduction | Kyle Foster has travelled extensively across the Arabian Peninsula and the Horn of Africa. He served in the U.S. Peace Corps Yemen and worked for the Saudi Arabian Navy before earning a master’s degree in international management from the School for International Training at Brattleboro, Vermont. A speaker of Arabic, he has worked as a development consultant in Yemen and the United States. Currently, he lives in the Old City of Sana’a with his Yemeni wife, Nsreen. Eric Hansen (Motoring with Mohammed etc.) and Tim Mackintosh-Smith (Yemen: Travels in Dictionary Land etc.) have been encouraging him to write. |
