| Introduction | This blog is documentation of a project currently in progress at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Students are enrolled in the Speculative Drawing section of the Visual Literacy program. Their task is to create a collapsible portable homeless shelter that can withstand the elements. They have to work within a $50 budget. This assignment was inspired by a project designed by Professor Jan Wampler and lecturer Alan Joslin at MIT School of Architecture and a project named EDAR developed by movie producer Peter Samuelson. www.edar.org |
