| Introduction | I'm a professional accountant (no, I don't do income tax so don't ask) and for the last 5 years I have run a consulting practice. First and foremost, I am a business person and I have knowledge and skills that are valid in any industry. Specifically, I was in the music industry for a few years as a manager. Since I have left the music industry, this blog is a way to combine my interest in business success, goal setting and planning, with what I learned while in the music industry. I often get emails from musicians wondering if I would manage them and in almost every case, they are at the beginning of their career and are not ready for a manager. They are struggling to know what to do and that is some of what is behind this blog. Even the more experienced musicians also lack planning skills and business skills.
