| Introduction | My name is Bryan Watkin and I am going on an adventure to Zambia to serve as a Peace Corps Volunteer. I will be serving as a Rural Fish Culture Extension Agent, working on rural aquaculture promotion with local communities. I come from a family of 7 who are scattered all over the United States. Two loving and very supportive parents, two sisters, and two brothers (I was the fourth). I have been living in Narragansett Rhode Island for 6 years where I studied Aquaculture and Fisheries Science at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI. After graduation in December of 2009, I began work as a substitute teacher, and part time at a local hardware store, Jerry's. I love the outdoors, fish, the ocean. It is important to understand that this blog does not in anyway represent the the thoughts or opinions of the United States Peace Corps. I am very much looking forward to these next few years and the wonderful professional and cultural experience I am about to undergo. ~Bryan |
