Introduction	I have always liked to do all sorts of handcrafts since I was a kid but knitting really got me. I started to knit in December 2008, soon after I moved to Iceland. At first was a way to use my time (because I was unemployed) and I really needed to get the feeling of being making something that I could look at and think: "Man, I did this and I can even wear it if I want to!". After a year I finally got a job and began school again and I kept on knitting. There isn't a day that I don't knit. I am pretty obssessed with it :) I really enjoy knitting lace, it is always a challenge (especially when you are left handed and knit backwards) and the satisfaction after blocking has no price! I also love to work with lopi. It is just a wonderful fiber. And finally, I looove to have little "knitting gadgets" and books... I want them all!
