| Introduction | After a few years work in Bogota - Colombia, this Argentinian plastic artist has just arrived to Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. Roberto Romero interprets with his handmade sculptures his “gaucho” tradition of wild horses with their horsehair in the wind and his small colored chess pieces. The exoticism that he found traveling through South America is reflected in his sculptures of flies, ants and fireflies in large sizes. The decoration made whith Austrian crystals, gives to these decoration objects an original and unique style. Recently stablished in Rio, the artist takes a new challenge trying to interpret with his works the exuberance of Brazil fauna and flora, with a special interest in the traditions and the identity of people.
