| Introduction | My husband, Mark and I are currently renovating our house - started in April 2007 and I don't have a solid end date in sight. This blog will help document the differences that men and women face during the renovation process. And there are typically a few hilarious stories to tell-at least we tell ourselves they're hilarious so we don't cry ourselves to sleep at night. I love my husband and wouldn't change a thing-but man what was he thinking?! And this is where he would say: What was she thinking I meant?! |
| Interests | AT the moment Home Renovation: replacement of furnace, air conditioner, water heater, water softener, painted interior of house, new outlets in bedrooms, hallway , office and back entry, carpeted the office insulated 2 roofs, removed gutters, permits and drawings for home renovation, re-sealed the asphalt driveway, filled concrete holes in garage, rebuild the shed, demo'd the basement, replaced the laundry vent, removed 9 or so trees, planed 50 hostas and day lilies, bought scaffolding, removed carpet, removed window decals, removed window treatments, piping around windows - energy test, removed aluminum trim, removed dry rotted joists and put in new, removed bad trim and installed new trim, new roof, started to refurb the windows-heat gun-sanding-chemical removal |
